OPEN STREET DIALOGUE
January2025
Berlin

Open Street Dialogue  is an initiative by Nellie Heinrichs.
When the harshness of winter pulls at your energy and vitality, you do whatever it takes to regain that burst of life.
The open street dialogue becomes a pocket where the concepts of nothingness and somethingness don’t need to make sense. She uses this setting to show her vulnerability in the face of the icy hot indifferent city, embracing the discomfort of winter as a skin wrapped in itchy, too tight denim, pressing toward human connection. This dialogue is an exploration of how presence and openness to exposure make sense in a metropolis that can often feel formal and disconnected.

but what do i do? it's okay
open-street-dialogue
i am looking for my words
i am looking for my words

they are dressed in, gold, green, and
just a hint of a tear drop.

what is the name?

but you see i was writing in the dark
no
i am not caring any last name

and it happens —  i forget what year it is

it is not strange
but i blame you
yes
yes i blame you

i saw the devil one time
her eyes didn’t reflect any light
there was just bitterness and corruption
staring back at me
the things that you can feel inside your cells

a letter
a letter was sent to me
i didn’t read it
but i still understood what was written.
i am on my way to write myself home

yes nellie
nellie is my name.

and I am standing next to the loneliest cherry tree in the world
i am in the middle and i could be anywhere

what a life father
is this okay for me?
